Dus­sel & Schus­sel - a clow­nish thea­t­re for ages 6 and up

While fleeing from their own footprints, Dussel and Schussel end up in a classroom where an imaginative play on the topic of "How do I overcome my fear" begins. Dussel and Schussel quickly set off on a journey to escape their fears. The two are not only afraid of their footprints, but also of their own shadows - a wonderfully funny and at the same time profound situation.

In the classroom they search for the "secret" and suspect the legendary island in the air that will reveal the solution to them. On their way they have to endure dangerous battles and their friendship is put to the test until they can finally reveal the greatest secret.

In a clownish play, the two actors present with great joy and imagination how a table becomes a floating island or a green book becomes a blackboard. Without elaborate sets, props or effects, they show profound philosophies of life that show ways out of fear in a powerful, loud and fast-paced as well as tender and poetic way.

The performance lasts between 35 and 45 minutes, depending on requirements.
