Court Con­cert - Win­ter­thur Flu­te En­sem­ble

A choir, an ensemble and a solo musician from Winterthur will take you on a musical journey at a live concert in the courtyard of the city library.

The Winterthur Flute Ensemble of the Winterthur Conservatory consists of 23 music-loving, advanced amateur flutists between the ages of 20 and 78. They play a variety of flute instruments, from the double bass flute to the piccolo. The ensemble gives regular concerts and realizes a wide variety of exciting projects, supplemented with other instruments depending on the style. The repertoire is stylistically very broad: from the Renaissance and Baroque to arrangements of classical-romantic symphonies to contemporary compositions and film music. Works by W. A. Mozart, Camille Saint-Saën and Domenico Scarlatti are performed, among others.
