Fred Berg, "King of Vegan", face of a popular vegan online cooking show, is found beaten to death in his cooking studio. Fred was found by Helena Meister, his discoverer and producer. The day before, they had started filming a pilot film that was supposed to make the jump from the internet to television. Also missing are 20,000 euros in cash and his cell phone.
