The Baths have an impressive history rich in tradition.
In Roman times, people already bathed in Aquae Helvetica - as Baden was then called. And in the centuries that followed, people from all over the world travelled to the spa area to find relaxation and healing in the hot springs. Lively gaiety, debauched frivolity and scandals: the baths had everything to offer in the different eras.
