For a week, the lakeside village of Gletterens will be transformed into a laboratory for experimentation and exchanges on the theme of ceramics
The Lake Village of Gletterens (VLG) is known far and wide for its faithfully reconstructed Neolithic dwellings and for the quality of the activities offered to the general public. It is an essential place to visit for schools in the region and anyone interested in prehistory. It has a vast program of activities and entertainment, as well as accommodation options in skin shelters or teepees.
For eight days, participants will create dove pots and reconstruct clay figurines and animals. Archaeologists will intervene to give lectures on the subject, exhibiting archaeological objects. The group of experimenters will consist of ceramic students, professional potters, craftsmen of various trades and passionate amateurs.
Registrations are required for participants and for visitors the normal price of admission.
