Based in Marseille, French 79 is known for his unique style inspired by greats of the electronic music scene such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Air. He is a master of floating electronic music who delivers an ode to youth with his latest album "Teenagers". He creates musical landscapes that take you to unexplored horizons, using old synthesizers with their characteristic sound. He plays with memories of film music and formative music projects of yesteryear such as Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and Daft Punk. Dance floors ignite to his electrifying compositions that mix sci-fi blockbuster atmospheres and typical French Touch film soundtracks. His music is a call to desire and freedom, a rousing electronic journey through the past, present and future - nonchalant, anthemic and electrifying like the soul of Marseille.
