Vilda and the Pancakes (2018, FIN, Peter Kanerva, Daniela Ollus)
Vilda, 5, lives with her dad. She leads a harmonious, sheltered life, is inventive, funny and open-minded and experiences typical preschool adventures: she goes to the dentist, spends the night at her cousin's, gets homesick, eats too much cake batter, draws in library books, loses her plastic boat, celebrates her birthday and invites too many guests. Every day she gets a little wiser.
