Takumi and his daughter Hana live in the village of Mizubiki near Tokyo. They lead a modest life in harmony with nature and appreciate the isolation. However, the peace is disturbed when a Tokyo company presents plans to build a glamping facility in the immediate vicinity. It quickly becomes clear that the luxury campsite will have serious consequences for the water supply and the lives of the villagers.
