The drummer and the trombonist meet for the first time in the Pavillon Le Corbusier: an exciting evening can be expected.
Valeria Zangger was born and raised in Samedan and now lives in Lucerne. Her work as a drummer is characterized by stylistic versatility; her sound spectrum ranges from pop music to experimental and free improvisation. This evening she meets trombonist Andreas Tschopp for the first time. His versatility and creativity on the instrument have made him one of the busiest trombonists in Switzerland, having performed on all continents and on many internationally renowned festival stages. Central elements in his artistic language are awareness of sound and playing with the unexpected, which make him an unmistakable and outstanding voice on his instrument. They are now appearing together for the first time in the Pavillon Le Corbusier: an exciting evening can be expected. Valeria Zangger – drums, Andreas Tschopp – trombone
