In the workshop, Violette Tanner shows how to marinate Sol eggs in a spice broth.
There was no electricity back then. Around 1850, people had their own methods for protecting food from spoiling and preserving it for the winter. Such supplies can be found in the museum's cellar, kitchen and attic.
