After his first opera, with which the British composer and conductor George Benjamin celebrated triumphs in 2012, he returned to Aix-en-Provence with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in 2023 - this time with a one-act opera. His work tells the story of a single day in the life of a woman: in order for her baby to come back to life, she has to find a really happy person and tear a button off his clothing.
