The director and puppeteer Nikolaus Habjan is staging the fantasy opera "Where the Wild Things Are" based on the classic children's book of the same name in the "MusikTheater an der Wien". Oliver Knussen's composition has delighted young and old since its premiere in 1980. Stephan Zilias is at the podium of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. The lyrical coloratura soprano Jasmin Delfs sings and plays the young Max, who sets off on a journey to a distant island.
