Die 19-jährige Liane, waghalsig und glühend, lebt mit ihrer Mutter und ihrer kleinen Schwester unter der staubigen Sonne von Fréjus. Besessen von Schönheit und dem Bedürfnis, jemand zu sein, sieht sie im Reality-TV die Möglichkeit, geliebt zu werden. Das Schicksal scheint es endlich gut mit ihr zu meinen, als sie an einem Casting für «Miracle Island» teilnimmt.
