As the Norwegian answer to films about unwanted pregnancies such as JUNO and NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS, NINJABABY stands out refreshingly for its relaxed approach to female sexuality and its original narrative perspective: Rakel's emotional chaos is commented on by the comic fetus brought to life in her drawings.
