May Day celebrations in Chiemgau (2023, D)

When the traditional costume wearers in Seeon put up their maypole, muscle power, patience and a good eye are required. Then it's time for music, freshly tapped beer and a snack. In northern Chiemgau, numerous "beer delicacies" were discovered for this report: from freshly caught Chiemsee whitefish to crispy roast duck and the Camba craft beer brewery, which serves a variety of beers as well as its own baked goods.
